New life for the humble coaster!

So you’ve been scrapping a lot, and you have all these scraps lying around… look around and see what you can turn into art.
Here, the humble coaster gets some attention! Use your scrap paper, extra stickers, bits of tags and create a drink coaster with a message.
Or make a few as a Xmas gift. Oh wait, how about making these instead of place cards at a sit down dinner… go on, get creative!

Here We Go

The Thursday before we closed the Island Store, Kerrie Elliot wished me a smooth transition and I told her I see a nap somewhere around the 10th of November . (smile)
Well, that didn’t happen. We worked to set up the shop all the way til Tuesday night, stopping only to prepare and participate in the IWA Xmas Charity Bazaar. {note to self: never ever try to fit 2 shops into one again}

The gang helped all the way, I could NOT have done it without them and, well, here we go again. We opened Wednesday and everything is (almost) , business as usual.
The ‘nap’ has been re scheduled to Monday. Do not visit my office in the next couple of weeks, please, what you don’t see in the shop is in there! My friend Bibi asked, quite innocently, if it was a store. (We’re still friends by the way)

Give Thanks
Change challenges us! We may be quite happy to have things the same but one thing you can count on, for sure, things keep changing. I’ve learnt to embrace that fact. Okay, maybe not embrace… November is the time of year to give thanks, to remember the things, the people that we are grateful for. Stop right here and give thanks for 5 people that have helped you in times of change. =)

Classes
Have you seen our class schedule for November? Take a look and sign up now to begin your scrapbooking journey. We’ve had some requests for Scrapbook 2 classes. We hear you and will try to schedule that in really soon. We also do special classes for groups of 3 or more and private lessons, on Fridays and by appointment only.
