December is such a busy time we sometimes forget to record the special moments. Problem solved! Make a cute little book, with empty pages to stick in your
December photos & thoughts, Xmas wish list, New Year's Eve menu... visit from Mum... just fill in the blanks, when December rolls around. Keep it in your Maya Road decorated chipboard house,
also doubles as a fancy Xmas ornament for your desk & a reminder to BE MERRY!

2008 in Pink & Blue
This 2 part workshop is not for the faint hearted. :) You will be guided to create a unique and elaborate record of the highlights of your 2008.
Every page will be a full 6x6 layout as if in a scrapbook with all the attention to detail and loaded with embellishments. In Part 2 you will learn to make extra pages & options for journaling.
Emphasis on layering,technique, detail & coordination. Options will be given so be prepared to do more than follow the sample =) Up for the challenge?

"Bag of Friends" Accordian Minibook
Grab a bunch of friends & scrap about each other! A delightful tribute to all the important women in your life.
The grown up sister of the 'Friends bag' we did for a kid's class, this purse contains an accordian minibook as well!
Dedicate one to a best friend, or pay tribute to several closest pals.
You'll be using new papers from Basic Grey, loads of flowers and a little bling.
Bring: 8-12 photos printed as a contact sheet ( or 2"x3"), your own adhesives, a black permanent marker pen ( eg. Sharpie).

SCRAPBOOK WORKSHOP

Introducing 'Scrapbooking Workshop' - a package consisting of 5 classes:
1. Scrapbooking Basics
This class serves as an introductory to scrapbooking. Learn about what scrapbooking is, how to scrapbook and what tools are used. Create one 12" x 12" layout and apply basic techniques.
Duration: 2 and a half hours
Bring: 4-5 photos
2. Design and Colour
This class will focus on how to design a layout. You will learn basic
principles of design and how colour theory and selection affects your
pages. Create one 12x12 layout based on the design principles for a
visually appealing effect.
Duration: 2 and a half hours
Bring: 2-3 photos
3. Techniques 1
This class explores the various techniques you can apply to your titles and lettering. From stickers to stamping, rub ons and more, create one 12x12 layout with fabulous title lettering.
Duration: 2 and a half hours

4. Techniques 2
3-D Embellishments and journaling methods will be our main topics. You will learn how the usage of different embellishments can enhance your
layout. Use up to 3 types of embellishments and 1 journaling technique to create one 12x12 layout.

5. Finding Your Own Style
This fun class will expose you to some of the common scrapbooking styles. Find your style! Or discover a new one, Go from retro to contemporary, or ephemera to funky.
Either way, you will create one 12x12 layout in the style of your choice.

The cost of the package will be RM250 for the 5 classes, or RM55 per class if you do not wish to sign up for the entire package. However, we do recommend that you take classes 1 and 2 before signing up for any of
the other classes. The fee will cover the cost of materials (papers, lettering and basic embellishments). Tools are provided.
Evening & Weekend classes available by special arrangement. Private sessions can also be arranged for individuals or groups. For more class info please enquire at the store. All class bookings
must be prepaid. No refund for cancellations with less than 24 hours notice.
